
Former Finetwork CEO to lead DAZN’s next phase of growth in the Iberian market.
DAZN, the global sports streaming platform, has announced a leadership transition for its operations in Spain and Portugal. Bosco Aranguren, CEO of DAZN Spain, will be stepping down to pursue new opportunities. Oscar Vilda, former CEO of Finetwork, has been named as his successor and will officially assume the role on February 1, 2025.
Aranguren, who joined DAZN in 2022, has been a driving force behind the platform’s impressive growth in Spain. During his tenure, the company achieved significant milestones, including a twofold increase in both revenue and subscriber numbers. His strategic initiatives included securing key distribution agreements with leading telecommunications providers like Telefónica, Orange, Vodafone, Grupo MASMOVIL, and Avatel.
In addition, Aranguren forged partnerships with prominent entertainment platforms such as Prime Video and MAX, expanding DAZN’s reach and accessibility. Under his leadership, DAZN Spain earned the prestigious “Great Place to Work” certification, reflecting the positive work environment and culture he cultivated.

Oscar Vilda’s appointment as CEO of DAZN Spain and Portugal marks a new chapter for the company. With over 30 years of experience in the FMCG and telecommunications industries, Vilda brings a wealth of expertise in branding, customer experience, and channel development.
Before joining DAZN, Vilda served nearly two years as the CEO of Finetwork, where he successfully positioned the company as the fifth-largest operator in the market. His previous roles include CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, board member of Starlink, and senior leadership positions at Orange and Vodafone. Vilda also gained valuable experience in marketing and commercial roles with renowned FMCG brands such as Allied Domecq, PepsiCo, and Schweppes.
Upon his appointment, Vilda expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to DAZN’s vision of becoming the global hub for sports and fan engagement. He highlighted the platform’s commitment to providing tailored solutions to customers with transparency while leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance user experiences.
