Crypto Liquidity Leader Strengthens US Presence with Strategic Leadership Appointment

B2C2, a leading player in the crypto liquidity market, has announced the appointment of Cactus Raazi as the new CEO of its US division. Based in New Jersey, Raazi will report directly to the group’s CEO, Thomas Restout, and join the firm’s executive committee. In his new role, Raazi will be responsible for shaping and executing B2C2’s business strategy in the United States, as well as strengthening relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators across the Americas.

The company’s decision to appoint Raazi reflects its commitment to expanding its influence in the US market, where it has seen significant growth in its client base, which includes major institutions, asset managers, and leading banks. This strategic move comes as the digital asset landscape continues to evolve, offering new opportunities for the convergence of traditional finance and the burgeoning crypto market.

Thomas Restout, Group CEO of B2C2, expressed his confidence in Raazi’s leadership, citing his extensive background in both finance and technology as crucial assets for the company’s future growth. “As the digital asset landscape evolves, the merging of traditional finance and crypto markets offers vast potential. Cactus’s established networks across both sectors will be a key asset to B2C2’s future growth,” Restout stated.

Raazi brings a wealth of experience to B2C2, having most recently served at Enhanced Digital Group, where he led US strategy for 18 months. Prior to that, he was the US CEO and co-head for the Americas at Amber Group, where he played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and regulatory engagement. His career also includes co-founding the bond trading platform Elefant, which was later acquired by Exos. Additionally, Raazi’s tenure at TradeWeb, Nomura, and a 13-year stint at Goldman Sachs, where he specialized in credit sales, further solidify his credentials as a seasoned leader in the financial sector.

With Raazi at the helm of its US operations, B2C2 is poised to strengthen its position as a market leader in crypto liquidity, leveraging his expertise to navigate the complex regulatory environment and capitalize on the growing demand for digital assets across the financial industry.
